Rooted in Presence

I hold the space so you return to yourself.

The practice

This is an invitation to pause.

I accompany people who want to reconnect with their body and their breath — gently, honestly, without force. These sessions are not about achieving a pose but about inhabiting yourself more fully. Each one is shaped around you: your body, your rhythm, your moment in life.

  1. Embodied yogaMovement guided by sensation rather than shape — slow enough to feel what is happening.
  2. Meditation & breathNot emptying the mind, but widening the space around it.
  3. Nervous system regulationFor stress that has become a background hum.
  4. Subtle & energeticThe layer beneath sensation, explored carefully and without dogma.

You are in the right place if…

  • your body will not switch off, even when you finally have time
  • you want a practice that is softer, but not easier
  • you have tried yoga that felt like performance, and left
  • you are looking for presence rather than achievement

No prior experience is needed. All bodies, all levels, any age.

Before you read on

Breathe with me.

You do not need to book anything to begin. Follow the circle for a minute and notice what changes. This is the smallest piece of the work I do — nervous system regulation, in its simplest form.

Choose a breathing pattern

A longer exhale than inhale. This is what tells the body it is safe.

Calm

Every practitioner has to know that unless he can remain in the present moment, awareness cannot enter the area of timelessness. In this state, the past, present, and future become one timeless eternity — transcending time, space, and object — wherein the Self is experienced.

About

My name is Madalina.

I am a yoga teacher and meditation facilitator with over 15 years of personal practice and teaching experience. My path has unfolded through long-term practice, inner inquiry, and travel across different traditions.

I trained with Dona Holleman, Chuck Miller and Gérard Arnaud, and at Kaivalyadhama in Mumbai. My practice draws on the Ashtanga, Hatha, Iyengar and Kundalini traditions.

What I came to understand is simple: true transformation happens not by pushing or striving, but by returning to presence, again and again.

The body is not an obstacle to spirituality — it is the doorway.

What people say afterwards.

  • Madalina is pure sunshine. She is a real yoga teacher, far away from “yoga-Pilates girl” stereotypes. She teaches with love, consciousness and patience. Her practice is rooted in joy and her laugh is communicative. She is caring for all her students beyond the classes she offers.

  • Madalina is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. She has such a warm, contagious smile and laugh that makes you feel comfortable right away. She also has a great way of making yoga fun and enjoyable while still keeping the whole experience calm and relaxing. Everything about the retreat felt really special and genuine. I would definitely recommend going on a retreat with her.

  • Being around Mada is basically a mix of laughing therapy, deep conversations and somehow always coming back to the present moment. She’s one of those people who can be incredibly funny and incredibly wise within the same minute. Her years of travelling and practicing yoga in India have given her a beautiful essence, but she never takes herself or life too seriously.

  • Madalina is passion: she puts love in everything she makes. She does not content teaching you yoga poses, she makes you understand what you are actually doing and why. I have tried other yoga teachers, but I always have her voice and instructions in mind.

Questions

Before you book.

What happens in a session?

Most sessions move through five stages: an introductory meditation, mantra, pranayama, conscious movement, and yoga nidra to close.

Do I need experience in yoga or meditation?

No. Sessions are accessible to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Guidance is clear, slow, and adaptable.

Where are you based, and in which time zone?

Wherever the work has taken me — India, Greece, France. That is exactly why the sessions are online. At the moment I am in India and work on IST (UTC+5:30), three and a half hours ahead of central Europe. In practice that makes European mornings and early afternoons easy to arrange. Tell me where you are and we will find an hour that suits us both.

What is Shakti Rising?

A meditation journey through the chakras, working with their bija mantras — the seed sounds of each energy centre.

Which language are the sessions in?

English or French — whichever you are more at home in. Say so when you book.

What do I need to participate?

A stable internet connection, a quiet space, a yoga mat or comfortable surface, and an openness to listen to your body.

Can online sessions really be effective?

Yes. When guided with presence and attention, online practice can be just as grounding as in-person sessions — sometimes more so, because you are already in your own safe space.

Are the sessions live or recorded?

Always live, via Zoom. Some may include a replay if indicated.
